Wills Transfer Limited has a Workplace Health and Safety Committee which consists of Employer and Employee representatives of the company. Each month, members of the committee complete a warehouse inspection following a set list of things to check. Items include Exit lights/Emergency lights/Defibrillator/Fire pull stations/Fire extinguishers/Eye wash stations are clear and functioning, MSDS available, products are stacked and stored properly, Emergency kits up to date, doors between phases are cleared and undamaged, electrical panels are cleared and working. These are among a full list of safety items that need to be checked off each month. Issues of non-compliance items are noted and corrected immediately. Followups of these items are presented at the scheduled, monthly Safety meetings to ensure all steps have been taken.
